Kim Dai sluice is among key projects to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the province's re-establishment.
The project aims to control salt water intrusion and cope with rising sea level. When the project comes into operation, it will provide fresh water for agricultural production, aquaculture, and daily life of local people in six districts and cities in the southern region of Ninh Binh. With its special significance, all efforts have been made to accelerate the progress of the project, ensuring its completion as scheduled.
With a determination to develop the economy and fighting COVID-19, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has directed local departments, sectors and units to pay attention to accelerating public capital disbursement, creating a drive force for economic recovery and development.
Thanks to these solutions, Ninh Binh's public capital disbursement reached a higher rate than the average of the whole country.
The capital disbursement of national target programmes hit 97 percent while the disbursement of ODA and soft loans from foreign donors reached 75 percent of the capital plans.
The rapid disbursement of public investment has created favourable conditions and removed difficulties for enterprises and labourers. Thus, Ninh Binh has successfully maintained its relatively high economic growth and improved living standards of local people.
