According to reports released at the working session,46 officers from the regular public security force have to date been posted at police stations of 12 out of 122 communes and townships in Ninh Binh province.
The work has brought about initial good outcomes as it has helped ensure security and social order, thus facilitating socio-economic development in the localities.
Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam spoke highly of Ninh Binh's police department in implementing the work which is guided in Resolution No. 22 adopted on March 15, 2018, by the Politburo.
The Minister asked Ninh Binh authorities to continue to create favorable spiritual and material conditions for these officers to perform their duties at communal police posts soundly.
He asked the provincial police to choose competent officers and have proper policies for them to work at communal police posts.
Provincial leaders were requested to pay special heed to carrying out the work.
During the working session, Minister To Lam talked about issues relating to proper policies and tasks for semi-regular police officers working in communes, as well as how to promote coordination between them and the regular public security force to ensure public order and security in the localities.
