Public Security Deputy Minister pays Tet visit to Ninh Binh

He and his entourage were received by Secretary of Ninh Binh's Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh and others.

Reporting on Ninh Binh's achievements, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh said last year, the province collected 16.5 trillion VND (715 million USD) for the state budget. The tourism sector welcomed over 7.6 million tourist arrivals.

Furthermore, Ninh Binh had 809 newly established businesses with a total registered capital of 5.4 trillion VND

Applauding Ninh Binh's performances, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam also offered Tet greetings and hoped that the Party organisation, administration and people of Ninh Binh will maintain solidarity andlocal traditions, further its accomplishments and experience in order to build a developed and wealthy province.

He expressed his hope that Ninh Binh authority continue to leading and steering local branches, sectors to fulfilling their socio-economic development plans for 2020, especially in terms of organising all - level party congresses and national tourism year 2020 Hoa Lu - ancient capital of millenium.

*Later, Nam and his entourage had a working session with Ninh Binh's Department of Public Security's staff during a visit to its headquarters the same day.

The Deputy Minister hailed Ninh Binh's Department of Public Security in recent years for contributing to ensuring socio-political security in the region.

He also sent Tet greetings and wishes to the cadres and leaders of the local public security forces and urged them to continue ensuring social order and security, especially during the traditional Tet holidays.
