Provincial Red Cross Society works with US Embassy in Vietnam

Attending the working session were Jeremy Spector, an official from the US Embassy  in Vietnam, and Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Red Cross Society Bui Trong Ky, among others.

At the working session, Ky briefed his guests on Ninh Binh's socio-economic situation in recent years as well as the operation outcomes of the provincialRed Cross Society in the 2015-2020 period.

For his part, Spector thanked the provincial Red Cross Society for its warm reception, and said that he was impressed by its programmes and activities.

Basing on the detailed information about local vulnerable groups provided by the provincial Red Cross Society, the US Embassy in Vietnam would suggest the US Agency for International Development (USAID) map out plans to support humanitarian activities in Ninh Binh province in the coming time, he said.
