The Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board on June 21 had a meeting with journalists of press agencies on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - 2023).

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 98-year tradition of the Vietnameserevolutionary press in general and of the Ninh Binh press in particular.
The press agencies have constantly renewed and improved the quality of the information and communication work and continued affirmed their roles in ideological and cultural front of the Party. They have managed to overcome difficulties to fulfill the political tasks, thereby contributing to the province's socio-economic development.

Speaking at the event, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan hailed the efforts and achievements made by press management agencies, press agencies, reporters and editors in the province in the past time.
While pointing out some shortcomings as well as challenges for press activities in the current context, Huan asked the provincial Party Committee's Board for Information and Education to continue well performing its role in directing and orienting press agencies' activities while urging the Department of Information and Communications to update new regulations and policies to manage and guide press agencies and journalists to work in line with regulations.
Local sectors, departments and units must work closely with press agencies to promptly provide information for press agencies and well implement the information work, he said.
Press agencies should accompany and contribute to the province's development, especially pay more attention to introducing Ninh Binh's potential and strengths to readers, thereby attracting more investors and tourists to Ninh Binh, the official said.
He suggested press agencies diversify press products, increase professionalism and boost digital transformation in a bid to build the brand for Ninh Binh and develop its identity.
Journalists, reporters and editors need to self-study and apply modern technologies to contribute to the press cause as well as the province's development, Huan said.
