Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang on July 21 visited and presented gifts to doctors, nurses and wounded and sick soldiers who are being treated at Military Hospital 5, on the occasion of the 74th War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

Quang, who is also Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, wished the wounded and sick soldiers overcome adversities and diseases to lead a happy and healthy life.
He also spoke highly of achievements that officials, doctors and nurses of the Military Hospital 5 have obtained in checking up and treating local people, in particular wounded and sick soldiers, in the recent years.
Later, Quang visited and presented a gift to Tran Hong Chuyen, a war invalid in Kim My commune, Kim Son district.
He was moved by Chuyen's fortitude and efforts in economic development and bringing up his children.
Quang hoped that Chuyen will continue to upholdthe revolutionary tradition and encourage his children to fullfill all tasks assigned by their agencies and units, helping to build the homeland more prosperously and beautifully.
The same day, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Council Bui Hoang Ha visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Nho Quan Convalescen Centre.

The centre is taking care of 139 people, including 71 wounded and sick soldiers who come from 22 provinces and cities nationwide.
Ha expressed his deep gratitude to war invalids and people who rendered services to the nation for national liberation and independence.
He affirmed that the Party, State and Ninh Binh authorities always remember and are grateful for the contributions and sacrifice of generations of heroic martyrs and war invalids and pay due attention to caing for them and their families.
He presented gifts to war invalids and ill soldiers in the centre and wished them live happily and healthily.
Later, Ha visited and presented a gift to wounded soldier Ha Huy Chieu in Gia Trung commune, Gia Vien district.
Ha wished Chieu good health, and expressed his hope that the war invalid will continue to set a bright example for young generations to follow.
Also on July 21, Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tong Quang Thin visited Bui Dinh Duong, a war invalid in Yen Son commune, Tam Diep city.

The vice chairman was also delighted at Duong's contributions to the locality's socio-economic development.
