Provincial leaders send Christmas greetings to Catholic institutions

Speaking at the meeting with local Catholic dignitaries and followers in Phat diem Diocese, Doan Minh Huan extended congratulations to Bishop of the Phat Diem Diocese Kieu Cong Tung and its Catholic community in Kim Son district, wishing him and local Catholic dignitaries and followers a peaceful, joyful, and blessed Christmas season and a happy New Year.

Huan also highly appreciated the contributions of the priests and Catholics in the whole province and those in the Phat Diem Diocese in construction, socio-economic development, ensuring social security and order and promoting the great national unity bloc.

Huan hoped that in the coming time, the Catholic priests, dignitaries and followers would continue to well implement the Party and State's policies and laws, and join hands in building the country and the homeland prosperously.

Archbishop of the Phat Diem Diocese Kieu cong Tung thanked the delegation for their attention to the diocese.

He also pledged to do his best to mobilise local Catholics to continue well carrying out patriotic emulation movements and taking part in ensuring social security and order, and boosting socio-economic development.

Later, the delegation visited and extended Christmas greetings to the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese catholics Ninh Binh branch, the offical  the Catholic and Protestant dignitaries and followers.
