On the occasion of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival, local authorities have visited and presented Tet gifts to needy people, the elderly and social policy beneficiaries across the province.

On January 24, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial people's Council Mai Van Tuat led a delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to the old, revolutionary contributors, poor households in the Nho Quan district
The delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to centenarian Hoang Thi Xuan, wounded soldier Nguyen Van Thu and poor household Quach Sy Ngoan in the Nho Quan district.
On behalf of the local Party and authority, Mr Tuat extended his best wish of good health and wished them a joyful Tet holiday.
Tuat also asked local authorities to continue to provide better care for social policy benificiaries, revolutionary contributors; create favourable conditions to assist poor households to overcome difficulties, and stable their lives.
Same day, standing Vice Chairman of provincial people's committee Tong Quang Thin led a delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to physicians and patients at Yen Mo Mental Rehabilitation Center.

At the function, the Vice Chairman spoke highly of efforts made by cadres of the Yen Mo Mental Rehabilitation Center in caring for patients, disability and elderly in the past few years and hoped that they will strive their best to continue caring for them.
On this occasion, delegation presented gifts to patients, doctors and staffs in the center.
Later, Mr Thin and his delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to centenarian, the poor household and wounded soldier in the Yen Mo district.
On this occasion, other officials also made pre-Tet visits and presented Tet gifts to local contributors, and the disadvantaged in Tam Diep city, Hoa Lu, Yen Khanh, Gia Vien and Kim Son districts.
