The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province on April 25 held a get-together with veterans, young volunteers and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province Nguyen Hoang Ha attended the event.
As many as 50 veteran soldiers, young volunteers and frontline workers represented thousands of people who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954 to join the get-together.

In his speech, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province Nguyen Hoang Ha reviewed the history and victory of theDien Bien Phu campaign and the contribution of Ninh Binh to the campaign 70 years ago.
From February to April 1975, up to3,716 Ninh Binh youths joined the army and since the beginning of 1954, thousands of local young people and frontlune workers participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, contributingto the glorious victory.

Representatives of veterans and former youth volunteers reviewed the history and expressed their pride to contribute to the Dien Bien Phu victory.
In his remark, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan affirmed that generations of Ninh Binh people always remember the sacrifice and contributions of veterans, former young volunteers and frontline workers to the victory of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

The Dien Bien Phu Victory holds great significance and has become a great spiritual strength for the Ninh Binh PartyOrganisation, soldiers and people to make greater efforts and reach new heights, he said.
In a bid to promote the spirit of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, Huan asked party committees and administrations at all levels to better take care for sick soldiers, war veterans and revolutionary contributors and fully implement policies for them.
Huan believed that veterans and former young volunteers would continue to promote the qualifications of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", and set bright examples for young generations to follow.
