Province's import turnover climbs to over 1,1 trillion USD during eight-month period

Ninh Binh's import turnover in August estimated to hit 283 million USD, representing a sharp rise of 11 pct against to same month of last year, according to figures released by the province's statistic Office.
Accumulated to the end of August, 2020, Ninh Binh's import turnover reached over 1,9 trillion USD, down 9.5 pct compared to the same period last year.
The commodity group that suffered the largest fall in turnover were electronic components, with a total import volume of 855 million USD; automobile products and components with 639 million USD; materials for textiles and footwear industry : 69 million USD and 111 million USD, respectively over the eight-month period, a sharp decline of 9.7 pct in comparison with last year's same period.
