The northern province of Ninh Binh's consumer price index (CPI) in the January-October period rose 4.48% from one year earlier, compared to the same period last year, according to the province department of Statistics Office.
The highest growth was seen in the restaurant and service group, with 14.86 %; education group, with a 4.08% rise; medicine and medical supply inched up 2.59%; beverage and tobacco, up 1.82%; apparel and footwear increased only 0.2%.
The other group saw a price decline was trasport with 9.62%; entertainment and tourism was 5.57%; post and telecommunications, at minus 2.55%.
Overall, The average index in ten months expanded 4.487%, compared with the one year-ago period.
