
At the working session, the liaison board put forth an idea of preserving and promoting the value of Bo Bat ceramics in Yen Thanh commune of Yen Mo district.
Accordingly, the idea aims to preserve and promote the values of two national heritages, including archaeological site of Man Bac and Bo Bat and linkages with historical relic sites in the province in an attempt to establish a unique space of heritage preservation. The move is expected to revive and develop the ceramic making craft and tourism.
A complex to preserve and promote the value of Bo Bat ceramics will be built in Yen Thanh commune. It will be a provincial scale project and consist of five components, including historical museum of Man Bac archeological site, and a temple worshipping ancestors of the ceramic making craft.
The liaison board also suggested Ninh Binh soon collect data to step up digitalization of and build a dossier to seek recognition of Man Bac archeological site and Bo Bat ceramic making as national intangible heritages.
Ninh Binh needs to held seminars and scientific conferences on Bo Bat ceramics, they said.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc spoke highly of the idea, and stressed that it provedthe determination, responsiblity and sentiments of Ninh Binh people living in Hanoi.
The idea is of great significance and the initial study outcomes supplement the results of previous studies made by provincial and central scientists, he added.
Ngoc also asked the culture sector and press agencies to step up the communication work, while Yen Mo district must take responsible for creating concensus among local people to expedite this idea.
