Press conference introduces 200th anniversary of Ninh Binh's appellation and 30th anniversary of its re-establishment

Bui Mai Hoa, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Board for Information and Education, chaired the press conference.

Participant were informed about a series of activities and programmes to mark the 200th anniversary of the Ninh Binh appellation and the 30th anniversary of the province's re-establishment.

The highlight is a ceremony celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Ninh Binh appellation and the 30th anniversary of the province's re-establishment, which is scheduled to be held at King Dinh Tien Hoang Square in Ninh Binh city on March 27, 2022.

Other activities will also be held such as paying tribute to national contributors, ground-breaking or inauguration ceremonies of projects in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Ninh Binh appellation and the 30th anniversary of the province's re-establishment.

At the same time, a series of activities and events will take place, including a seminar entitled "Ninh Binh - 30 years of innovation, creativity and development"; a seminar entitled "Ninh Binh in the process of history and renewal cause"; an exhibition on Ninh Binh's socio-economic achievements; an art and photo exhibition; Hoa Lu festival 2022; Ninh Binh trade fair 2022; a conference promoting and surveying tourism products in Ninh Binh.

There will be sport tournaments such as Volleyball Championship Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup; National Volleyball Championship's First Round; Marathon and Olympic running day 2022; and the 26th National Wrestling Championship.

Besides, a number of competitions will be held during the year such as a contest of excellent travel guides 2022; a contest for composing new songs, book publishing and music CD and VCD about Ninh Binh, and  Miss Hoa Lu 2022 Beauty Pageant.

At the press conference, representatives of central and local press agencies raised questions and asked relevant departments and agencies to provide information and deocuments serving the dissemination about the events.
