President of VFF Central Committee pays Tet visit to Ninh Binh

Secretary of the province party organisation Nguyen Thi Thu Ha briefed the guests on the locality's socio-economic development, and its efforts to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms Ha said despite COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters last year, the province's gross domestic product still grew by 5.71 percent, budget collection was 1.3 percent higher than the yearly estimate, and exports up 9.8 percent. The province also achieved 14 out of 17 targets set by provincial peoples council. 

Ninh Binh has been successfully controlled of the COVID-19, keeping as a safe green zone. It is among the top province of local people getting innoculation of COVID-19 vaccine nationwide.

The President  praised the local political system and people for their efforts to overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and reap achievements across fields, especially in the fight against COVID-19, developing economy, consolidating national solidarity and international religious connections.

Mr Chien also sent his best wishes to Ninh Binh authority and people in the upcoming lunar New year, hoping that Ninh Binh continues to promoting its unity in building a properous and beautiful province.
