Preparations hastened for 10th anniversary of UNESCO recognition of Trang An Landscape Complex as World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site

A solemn ceremony celebrating the anniversary will be organised on April 26 night in Bai Dinh pagoda, the organisers said.

Currently, provincial departments, sectors, localities and businesses are working hard to prepare for the important event in terms of reception, building a scenario for the ceremony, ensuring food safety, environmental hygiene, social security, fire prevention and control, and traffic safety. 

At the same time, streets in Ninh Binh city and roads leading to the Trang An complex and Bai Dinh Pagod are decorated with banners and posters to welcome the ceremony.

Xuan Truong Construction Company has increased its workforce to clean the environment and prune branches of trees around Trang An area.

The company has also arranged enough labourers and electric vehicles to serve delegates, tourists and local people who will join the ceremony.

The thorough preparations are hoped to contribute to the success of the ceremony and honour the values of the Trang An heritage site.
