The PM met and conveyed his wishes for the good health of Vu Thi Nhan, aged 98, living in Minh Khai ward, Hai Ba Trung District, who is the mother of martyr Trinh Dinh Khoi.
Born to a family of intellectuals, Trinh Dinh Khoi laid down his life on the Quang Tri battlefield when he was 19 years old. His grave has yet to be found.
Later, PM Phuc visited the family of Dang Thuy Tram in Doi Can ward, Ba Dinh district. He met Doan Ngoc Tram, the mother of the martyr and expressed his sympathies for her loss.
Dang Thuy Tram, a doctor, was born in 1942 and worked at a local hospital in Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai province. She sacrificed her life in 1970 while on duty.
During his visits, the PM expressed his deep gratitude to martyrs who laid down their lives in the struggle for national freedom and liberation.
He affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always keep in mind the great contributions made by martyrs and pay due attention to the families of revolutionary contributors.
