Photo exhibition highlights homeland's seas and islands held in Ninh Binh

The event was jointly held by the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee, the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Some 223 high quality art works that entered the final round of the contest "Homeland's seas and islands" launched from June to November of 2018 are being displayed at the exhibition.

The photos, which are highly aesthetic, give visitors a deep impression of the beautiful homeland's seas and islands as well as people living in these areas.

The event aims at promoting and introducingthe role, potentials and beauty of Vietnam'sseas and islands to people a home and abroad; contributing to aising Vietnamese people's awareness of their responsibility for conserving the homeland's seas and islands.

The exhibition will run until April 7.
