Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairwoman of its Commission for Mass Mobilisation Bui Thi Minh Hoai on January 19 paid a visit to the northern province of Ninh Binh where she presented gifts to social policy beneficaries, poor households and disadvantaged workers ahead of Tet (Lunar New Year) - the biggest and longest festival of Vietnamese people.

Hoai together with leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Vietnam Women Union Central Committee and the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin visited and presented gifts to poor and disadvantaged families and workers in Yen Khanh district and Ninh Binh city.
The delegation handed over 750 Tet gift packages to representatives of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Federation of Labour, Women Union and Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin to distribute to disadvantaged people in Yen Khanh district.
The Party official also presented Tet gifts to 10 needy households in Yen Khanh district.

On behalf of Party and State leaders, Hoai extended greetings to the households and wished them a warm and happy Tet holiday.
She suggested the authorities of Ninh Binh province and Yen Khanh district continue to pay more attention to and care for the disadvantaged and social policy beneficiaries so that everyone can have a warm Tet and no one is left behind.
On this occasion, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha also handed over Tet gifts to Yen Khanh district.
Later, the delegation visited and handed over Tet gifts to 100 poor workers of Vienergy Co. Ltd at Phuc Son Industrial Park in Ninh Binh city and paid a Tet visit to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Bui Thi Minh in Ninh Tien commune of Ninh Binh city.
The same day, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin Central Committee Nguyen Van Khanh visited and presented Tet gifts to poor families and AO/Dioxin victims in Khanh Hoa commune of Yen Khanh district.
