Over 6.86 trillion VND allocated for Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway section

The Ninh Binh provincial People's Council has just issued a resolution on the investment policy on building a section of Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway running through the province with total investment of more than 6.86 trillion VND (281.8 million USD).
Accordingly, the project has a total length of 25.3 kilometers. It starts at Mai Son intersection in Mai Son commune of Yen Mo district and ends at a bridge crossing Day river in Khanh Cuong commune of Yen Khanh district.
It will have four lanes and a designed speed of 120 kilometers per hour with total investment capital of over 6.86 trillion VND (281.8 million USD). Of which, 2 trillion VND is sourced from the provincial budget while the rest comes from the central budget.
The project will be carried out from 2024 to 2029.
It is one of the key projects that plays an important role in spurring socio-economic development of the province and of the Red River Delta.
