During the holidays for the 44th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30), the northern province of Ninh Binh attracted 450,600 tourists, up 5.1 percent year-on-year, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported.
Of the figure, the international visitors were 29,800, up 7,2 percent while domestic were 420,570, posting an increase of 4.9 percent.
Province's most-visited tourist destinations are Van Long natural reserve; Bai Dinh pagoda, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Hoa Lu ancient capital; Trang An ecological site and Cuc Phuong national park.
Security and order situation as well as hygiene in local tourist destinations have been enhanced to ensure safety for visitors and leave a good image of Ninh Binh tourism.
