Over 300,000 tourists visit Ninh Binh on New Year holiday

According to the provincial Departmen of Tourism, during the three day holiday, the province served 29,448 foreign tourists, a year-on-year increase of 150% .

Some popular destinations such as Hoa Lu Old quarter, Trang An tourist area, Bai Binh pagoda, Thung Nham ecological site ….have attracted huge numbers of domestic and foreign visitors.

Of them, Hoa Lu ancient capital lured 8,282 visitors, the Trang An ecological site received over 30,000 visitors; the Bai Dinh pagoda attracted 27,000 visitors; the Thung Nham ecotourism site saw over 33,000 arrivals and Hoa Lu old quarter lured over 43,000 visitors

Total revenue from tourists is estimated at nearly 420 billion VND (18 million USD).

Tourist attractions and entertainment areas in provinces have provided a myriad of activities for visitors on this occasion, therefore  increase the night stay of tourists with the hotel average occupancy rate is between 70% -100%.
