Officials from Lao province of Udomxay visit Ninh Binh

They met with Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang, who joyfully welcomed the delegation and briefed them about the province's socio-economic achievements in recent years.

He stressed the sound and long-lasting relationship between Vietnam and Laos in general and that between Ninh Binh and Udomxay province in particular.

Quang expressed his hope that the visit would help open new opportunities of cooperation between the two provinces, thus creating a solid foundation for their long-term cooperativ relationship in the coming time.

At the meeting, Khamphan Phoinhavong congratulated Ninh Binh province on its socio-economic achievements. He expressed his gratitude to Ninh Binh for supporting the training of his province's cadres, and building infrastructure in the past few years.

He stressed that the visit aims to tighten the fine traditional friendship and learn more experience of Ninh Binh in developing the economy and building new rural areas.

Udomxay leaders hoped to receive more support in all fields from Ninh Binh in the coming time.

On this occasion,the delegation paid a visit to the World cultural and natural heritage of Trang An, and HyundaiThanh Cong AutoViet Nam Joint Stock Company.
