Ninh Binh works to speed up construction of coastal road project in Ninh Binh

A representative of Cuong Thinh Thi Construction group, Ninh Van An, Vice Director said: Having defined it as an important project that does not helps complete the transport infrastructure and form an arterial transport in the coastal region, thus serving for socio-economic development and it also strengthens social security and defense, coping with climate change too.

The project helps connect to corridor of coastal road in Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Thanh Hoa provices, engineers, workers have strived their effort to complete the project.

Though it was first started in November 2021, behind the schedule time, cadres, engineers, workers of the Group have strived their efforts to implement the project.

To date, at the brigde over Day river work item, the filling site for the construction, electrical substation along two banks of the river have been completed while bored piles, pier footing, pier body, pier crosshead are being constructed.

According to investor's report, to date, 40% of the workload has been completed with a total disbursed amount of over 200 billion VND. 

The coastal road running through Ninh Binh is part of the detail planning scheme of Vietnamese coastal roads, which was approved by PM on January 18, 2010, has total investment capital of more than 682 billion VND from the Central and province budget.

Construction time lasts for four years (2019 - 2023).

The coastal road project has total lengths of 3,25kilometers, meeting standard of class 3.

The starting point connects to coastal road project running Nam Dinh province in Nghia Hai commune, Nghia Hung district and the end point connect to coastal road project running Ninh Binh province in Con Thoi commune, Kim Son district.

Pham Quoc Chinh, Director of provincial management board of transport projects said: Being an investor, we have planned detail construction time in a bid to ensure the speed of disbursement as well as the speed of the construction.

Construction at brigde area, road and water drainage are being accelerated.

At the same time, investor also works with localities to speed up land clearance.

Currently, the Nam Dinh's Nghia hung district has completing and handing over 100% of land clearance while the rest of 0,46kilometters of reclaimed land haven't been cleared.

The reason attributed to the hindrances in accumulating agriculture field matter in the Con Thoi commune.

It is predicted that 2023 will be more difficult, under the close monitor of the province and localities, the determination, effortst of investors, contractors, engineers, workers, the project is hoped to be completed  and will be put into operation soon, serving for the province's development as set target.
