Ninh Binh welcomes over 3 million visitors in Q1

More than 3.1 million tourists travelled to the northern province of Ninh Binh in the first three months of this year—a 7.4% year-on-year increase, the provincial Department of Tourism has revealed.
The figure included 2.9 million domestic visitors and 208,000 foreign guests, a rise of 7.1% and 11.7%, respectively, on-year.
Those staying overnight numbered 96,782, a year - on - year rise of 2%.
Revenue is estimated at VND 771.8 trillion (USD 34 billion), a surge of 12.6 percent against that recorded a year earlier.
The traditional festivals like Hoa Lu, Trang An, and Bai Dinh in the very first months of the year helped attract tourist arrivals to Ninh Binh in the reviewed months.
