Ninh Binh welcomes over 3.2 million visitors in Q1

Of the number, 3.1 million were domestic travellers and the remainder was international visitors.

In the period, the province earned over 2.48 trillion VND (102 million USD) from tourism activities, 5.5-fold increase from the same period last year.

The results were attributed to the tourism sector's effective measures such as organising activities to serve tourists and tourism promotion programmes and increasing the quality of services.

The tourism sector is preparing conditions to welcome visitors during the five-day holidays on the occasion of the National Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1). 

Itwill also continue to stepping up tourism promotion activities both in and outside the country; improving the tourism business climate and creating new attractive tourism products.
