Ninh Binh welcomes nearly 654,9 thousand visitors in Q1

The northern province of Ninh Binh welcomed some 654,900 tourists in the first three months of 2022, up 8 percent year-on-year.
Of the holidaymakers, 652,400 are domestic visitors, a year-on-year rise of 9.1 percent, while the foreign visitors are 2,500,000, plunge 71.1 percent.
Meanwhile, the occupancy rate in Ninh Binh's lodging facilities fell 16.7 percent during the first quarter, with tourists staying for 137,5000 nights.
Tourism brought about 382.5 billion VND (16,7 million USD) in the preriod.
