Ninh Binh welcomes nearly 600,000 visitors during Tet

Of the total number, 115,000 are foreign tourists, a 3.9-fold rise. The tourism sector earned over 700 billion VND, a year-on-year increase of 27.3%.

On the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, local tourist sites served 209,783 visitors, including 35,168 foreigners.

Major tourist destinations welcoming large numbers of visitors on this occasion include Hoa Lu ancient capital, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Dinh pagoda, Hoa Lu old quarter, and Thung Nham bird sanctuary.

 The average room occupancy rate at local accommodation establishments reached 80% -85%.

The Department of Tourism has guided management boards of local tourist sites, accommodation establishments and travel companies to carry out plans and measures to serve tourists; strictly implement regulations related to price listing; and ensure social security and order, environmental hygiene.
