Ninh Binh welcomes nearly 6.6 million tourist arrivals in 2023

The figure raised the total number of visitors to Ninh Binh in 2023 to nearly 6.6 million, a 1.7-fold increase from the previous year and 30% higher than the yearly target.

The toursim sector earned over 6.5 trillion VND (278 million USD) in 2023, a two-fold rise from the previous year, and 160% higher than the yearly plan.

This year, local landscapes and relic sites have been upgraded, while accommodation establishments have been built and new tourism products have been developed to serve tourists.

Besides, the province has organised numerous activities and cultural exchange events in an attempt to introduce and promote tangible and intangible heritages, relic sites and landscapes of Vietnam in general and Ninh Binh in particular, thereby drawing more tourists to the province.
