During a working session with Ninh Binh Province's leaders on the afternoon of January 31, President Quang extended Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to the province's Party organisation, authorities and people.
The President asked the province to utilise its position in the south of the Red River Delta—with a number of famous cultural and historical relic sites and landscapes such as Phat Diem Stone Church, Trang An Eco-Resort, Bai Dinh Pagoda and Cuc Phuong National Park—to develop tourism and services.
The province also needs to pay greater attention to agriculture, industry, clean technology and the maritime economy, he noted.
Ninh Binh should focus on administrative reforms, mechanisms and policy perfection, infrastructure development and human resources training, he said, adding that more attention should be paid to improvingParty-building and the political system in terms of ideology, organisation, personnel and inspection.
The State leader also urged the province to intensify efforts to promote the province's potential and cultural and heroic traditions in order to fulfil targets set for 2017.
