Ninh Binh tourism revenue rises 60% in May

The Ninh Binh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has reported that tourist arrivals to the province numbered 533,800 in May, expanding 63.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
The figure included over 490,000 domestic visitors and 43,700 foreign tourists. The number of those staying overnight was 32,300 per night, a year - on - year rise of 0,1 percent.
The tourism sector earned an estimated revenue of nearly122 billionVND (5 million USD), which reflected a surge of 60 percent against that recorded a year earlier.
