Ninh Binh tourism revenue records over 900 billion VND in first half of 2015

The Ninh Binh provincial Department of Statistic has reported that tourist arrivals to the province numbered 4.3 million in first six months of 2015, expanding 32 percent compared to the same period last year, accounting for 97.1 percent of the yearly plan.
The figure included 4 million domestic visitors and 300 thousand foreign tourists. The number of those staying overnight was 274 thousand per night, a year - on - year rise of 11.5 percent.
The tourism sector earned an estimated revenue of nearly 960 billion VND (43 million USD), which reflected a surge of 45.5 percent against that recorded a year earlier.
