Ninh Binh to host national domestic tourism forum

A wide range of issues related to domestic and regional tourism, neccesary factors for the development of tourism and feasible solutions in the new normal situation will be discussed during the forum.

Up to 500 delegates are expected to attend the event where they will analyse the importance of the domestic market in reviving tourism as well as measures to boost domestic travel, organisers have said.

Participants and businesspeople are also scheduled to put forth solutions to develop domestic tourism and share experience in tourism development of some provinces and cities across the country.

The forum is seen as a warm-up of the annual Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2021, which will take place in Hanoi from May 5 to 8 with the theme "New Normal - New Opportunities".

Ninh Binh will launch the National Tourism Year 2021 with an opening ceremony, themed "Hoa Lu - Thousand-year Ancient Capital", on April 20 night.
