Ninh Binh to carry out 99.2-million-USD social housing project

The project covers an estimated area of over 49,600 sq.m with total capital investment of more than 2.3 trillion VND (99.2 million USD).

With a total floor area of 209,000 sq.m, the project will consist of 2,153 social houses and commercial houses. It will accommodate a total population of 7,532.

 Construction of the project is scheduled to last from 2022 to 2027.

According to the provincial People's Committee, the project would stimulate the province's socio-economic development; develop a multi-purpose urban space; ensure modern and synchronic infrastructure that connects to surrounding projects; and meet the housing demand of workers in the Gian Khau IP and low-wage labourers in neighbouring areas.

At the same time, the project would attract more labourers and other economic resources, and contribute more to the state budget from land use fees and tax.

The provincial People's Committee will organize a bidding to select the qualified investor who is permitted to sell and lease the houses to social housing policy beneficiaries.
