Ninh Binh strives to fulfill public investment disbursement target

In 2024, Ninh Binh has been allocated nearly 6.46 trillion VND in public capital, including over 611.3 billion VND from the central budget and the rest from the provincial budget.

Since the beginning of 2024, Ninh Binh has proactively carried out drastic and synchronic tasks and measures to speed up public investment disbursement,especially the acceptance of and payment for completed workload of projects.

The province has also paid due heed to building plans on the disbursement of public investment for each task and eachproject.

Under the direction of the provincial People's Committee, local sectors andagencies have given priority toimplementing key projects, such as the project on building infrastructure for Trang An ecological tourism site; the project on building Hoa Lu University (second phase); the project onconstructing the East-West road (first phase); and the project on purchasing facilities for the provincial culture house.

At the same time, some new projects and works have also been kicked off, such as the project on building a dyke and expanding inter-hamlet road in Ninh Hoa commune (Hoa Lu district); the project on upgrading and restoring the historical relic site of Kiem Linh mountain in Gia Tien commune (Gia Vien district); and the project onupgrading and restoring Phu Sacommunal house in Yen Lam commune (Yen Mo district).

Ninh Binh authorities have reviewed and promptly removed difficulties and hindrances for some projects during the implementation process.

By the end of May, the province had disbursed nearly 1.73 trillion VND, equivalent to 26.8% of the assigned plan. Of the total, 41.2 billion VND was fromthe central budget and 1.68 trillion VND from the provincial budget.

In an attempt to fulfill the target of disbursing over 95% of the allocated investment as requested by the Prime Minister, the provincial People's Committee has asked departments, sectors, administrations at all levels and investors to effectively implement various solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital.
