In the first half of 2023, Ninh Binh collected over 5.98 trillion VND (254 million USD), accounting for 33.1% of the yearly estimate assigned by the provincial People's Council.
Of which, 5.76 trillion VND was collected from taxes, charges and fees, excluding land use fees, equivalent to 81.6% of the figure in the same period last year, while revenue from land right use is 220 billion VND (9,4 million USD), accounting for 7.3% of the yearly plan set by the provincial People's Council.
Right at the beginning of 2023, the Department of Tax built and allocated estimates and targets to its units. At the same time, the department has stepped up the dissemination of new tax policies, and speed up the progress and quality of inspections to prevent tax losses.
In addition, the department has paid attention to supporting and handling difficulties and hindrances for enterprises; and creating favourable conditions for local people and businesses to develop production and business activities.
Measures have been taken to speed up digital transformation and administrative reform in tax management, while online tax registration, payment and refund have been deployed.
