In recent days, there has been a rumour about an advertisement of leasing a cave room in Ninh Xuan commune of Hoa Lu district with rent price of up to 60 million VND a night.
The advertisement has caused mixed arguments among netizens.
Immediately, the Department of Tourism established a working group to inspect the above information to check whether the owner of that accommodation facility violates the regulations of using land inside the heritage area and the room rent is overpriced or not.
The timely inspection and verification of management agencies have helped assure public opinions and avoid the distortion of Ninh Binh's tourism image.
At the same time, the inspection and examination also helped to regulate the performance of travel firms and accommodation establishments in the province.
In the first six months of 2022, the tourism sector has cooperated with functional agencies, units and localities to organise 616 inspections, during which they detected and handled 71 cases of violations in land use and construction.
The Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex spans over 20 communes and wards of four districts and Ninh Binh city while many local people are living in the core area, thus local authorities have paid more attention to monitoring the operations of business households and accommodation establishments in the heritage area.
Besides, functional agencies, local administrations, and management board of tourist sites also boosted the communication work in a bid to raise awareness of local people and organisations about regulations of land use and construction in the heritage area.
A part from the inspection and supervision work, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has recently issued a document, asking local departments, sectors and the Hoa Lu District People's Committee to inspect and strictly handle organisations and individuals who violated regulations about land use and construction in the Trang An complex.
