Ninh Binh spends nearly 4 bln VND on Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries

Beneficiaries include revolution contributors and families of those who rendered service to the nation, dioxin victims, the elderly, kindergartern teachers, families of soldiers stationed on Truong Sa archipelago, local disadvantaged people, and impoverished households.

Specifically, the Tet gifts will be given to 29,000 revolution contributors, and 25,000 local social policy families, the poor and the elderly.

The provincial People's Committee has assigned the People's Committees of districts and town, and heads of relevant agencies to call for donations and assistance from organizations and individuals, thus bringing a warm Tet to policy beneficiaries and poor people on the occasion of the longest and biggest annual festival in Vietnam.
