Ninh Binh sees surges in number of National Day holidaymakers

In the period from September 1-4, Ninh Binh served 222,705 visitors, a year -on-year increase of 47.5%; 19,646 of them foreigners, announced by the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism

The province pocketed 230 billion VND (9,7 million USD) from tourism services, up 27.8% compared to same period in 2022.

In particular, Trang An ecological site welcomed about 54,000 visitors; Hoa Lu old quater served over 42,000 visitors, Bai Binh padoga complex received about 41,000, Thung Nham Bird valley  elcomed 30,000.

Meanwhile Cuc Phuong national park and Tam Coc -Bich Ding received 8,000 and 6,500 guests, respectively.

The average occupancy rate of the hotel sector was estimated at 70% -75%. 

Although the number of tourists during the holidays was higher than normal days, Ninh Binh Province and other localities have proactively prepare conditions to serve tourists and people to prevent congestion and ensure security, social order, food hygiene and safety and environmental sanitation, bringing satisfaction and good impression for visitors.
