Ninh Binh sees 10.1 percent economic growth in first half

According to the report, in the first half of this year, the province attained a GRDP growth of 10.1% while industrial production made a strong performance with over 32 trillion VND, an increase of 31.3% compared to the same period last year.

The tourism sector recordednearly5.4 million tourist arrivals in the reviewed time and earned an estimated revenue of nearly 2.4 trillion VND, or a rise of over 23 % against 2018.

Material and spiritual life of the local people improved remarkedly whiles ocial welfare, national defense and security were maintained.

The provincial People's Committee mapped out tasks for socio-economic development in the rest six months of the year.

They include such goals as boosting investment attraction; enhancing state management over tourism and festival activities; paying heed to improving the quality of education; bettering care for social policy beneficiaries, creating more jobs for local people, and enhancing national defence and social security.
