This year's 10 outstanding faces are from 31-35 years old, from famous domestic research institutes and universities, and young Vietnamese talents studying and working abroad.
Dr. Luong Van Thien, a 30-year-old lecturer from Ninh Binh province won the award in the field of information technology, digital transformation and automation. He is working at the Information Technology Faculty of the Phenikaa University and is head of the AIoT Lab research team.
This is an award presented by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee to excellent individuals under the age of 35 in five fields, namely information technology - digital transformation and automation, medical technology - pharmacy , biotechnology, environmental technology, new material technology.
Among the 10 award winners, many individuals are leaders of national science and technology projects, with highly effective practical application, or have many high-quality scientific works, recognised utility solutions, national and international awards and medals.
Each award winner will receive a Golden Globe trophy, an award certificate and a "Creative Youth" badge from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee along with a cash prize.
