Ninh Binh's tourism sector earns nearly 3.7 trillion VND in three months

In March, the province welcomed over 1,3 tourist arrivals, a 1.4-fold increase from the same period of 2023; The number of tourists staying overnight reached 200,000, a 1.6-fold increase from the first quarter last year. Total revenue from tourism activities hit 1.3 trillion VND (55.3 million USD) in March, representing a 1.7-fold rise year on year.

 In the first three months of 2024, the province welcomed nearly 3.9 million tourist arrivals, a 1.2-fold rise from the same period of last year.

In the reviewed period, Ninh Binh earned nearly 3.7 trillion VND (157 million USD), a 1.4-fold increase year on year.

The tourism sector has organised numerous activities and cultural exchanges in a bid to introduce, promote tangible and intangible cultural heritages, relic sites and destinations in the province.

New tourism products have been launched while local destinations have been upgraded and accommodation establishments have been developed, helping attract more tourists to the province.

Social order and security, hygiene and civilised tourism have been ensured.
