Ninh Binh's Party chief extends greetings to armed forces

 Nguyen Thi Thanh led a delegation to visit the province's Military High Command; Army hospital No 5 and High command of Corps 1.

At the visiting sites, on behalf of the province's leadership, Secretary Thanh highly valued efforts and responsibilities of local military units, in which contributed to supporting the city to fulfill its military-defense missions. She also hoped that the provincial armed forces would continue to maintain their combat readiness, building strong Party organizations and comprehensive building and military combat preparedness and the constant improvement of capabilities of fulfilling missions and tasks.

Earlier, the Ninh Binh Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fartherland Front's Committee organised a meeting on December 19 gathering more than hundreds retired senior military officers and Heroes of People's Armed Forces, in the presence of Party member and Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh.

Delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army over the past 75 years and set plans for the next year.

The meeting was among a series of events to mark the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944) and the 30th celebration of the Whole People's Defence Festival Day (December 22, 1989-2019).
