Localities in Ninh Binh province on February 6 held ceremonies to send off 1,300 young people who will implement the mission of Fatherland protection at military and police units.

The farewell ceremony for new recruits in Hoa Lu district was attended by Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Vice Chairman of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People's Army, among others.
This year, Hoa Lu has 82 new recruits, of whom 66 are eligible to serve in the army were while the rest will be serving in the public security force.
At the event, leaders of Ninh Binh province, the army and Hoa Lu district presented flowers and gifts to the new conscripts and wished them healthy and fulfill their missions.

In 2023, 250 young people in the district join the army and the public security force.
Attending the send-off ceremony in Kim Son district were Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, and Director of the Department of Public Security Dang Trong Cuong, among others.

This year, Kim Son selects 287 young people to serve in military units and public security force. Of whom, 260 will be serving in the military units, 27 otherswill join the public security force.
Also on February 6, all eight districts and cities in the province completed the hand-over of conscripts to the army and public security force.
This year, Ninh Binh has 1,300 young people joining the army and public security force. Of whom 72 have university and college degrees; 167 were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam and nearly 300 voluntarily applied for joining the army.
