Ninh Binh's leaders receive Indian guests

Standing Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tong Quang Thin, who is also President of the Union of Friendship Associations of Ninh Binh received the delegation.

Speaking at the reception, Thin said that the cooperative relations between Vietnam and India were established and nurtured a long time ago.

The friendship between the two nations has been enhanced and promoted in all fields, including people-to-people diplomacy and among friendship associations and localities. 

Thin also introduced the province's socio-economic situation as well as its rich culture and history.

He said that the visit would help strengthen the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and India as well as cultural and people-to-people exchange between their localities.

For his part, Kanungo Agasti expressed his joy to visit Vietnam and Ninh Binh, and thanked the hosts for their warm welcome.

He hoped that the visit would strengthen the solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
