Ninh Binh's leaders inspect progress of public investment projects

Leaders of Ninh Binh, including Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc on August 23 inspected the progress of some public investment projects in the province.

The delegation examined the implementation of projects such as Cha La bridge, southern Van river irrigation work, bridge crossing Van river, and road T21 in Ninh Binh city.
They also inspected the sub-project on improving urban infrastructure in Phat Diem town of Kim Son district.
The investment disbursement rates of these projects range from 44% to 95% of the capital plans.
Those having low disbursement rates have mostly faced hindrances in site clearance.

After inspection, the provincial leaders spoke highly of the efforts made by departments, sectors, localities, investors, and constructors in overcoming difficulties to speed up construction as scheduled.
They also acknowledged difficulties and proposals put forth by agencies, units and localities in the implementation of the projects, particularly in site clearance.
Members of the delegation underscored the importance of these projects in building synchronic transport infrastructure; opening up opportunities for the province's development and breakthroughs as well as creating beautiful urban landscape.
Therefore, the provincial leaders asked for the participation of the entire political system and investors to remove hindrances in terms of land site, accelerating construction and ensuring the quality, technical and aesthetical factors of these projects.
