Top leaders of Ninh Binh on May 10 inspected preparations for the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and members of all-level People's Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure in localities across the province.

Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, who is also head of the province's delegation of NA deputies, examined the preparations for the elections in Yen Mo district.
At a working session with leaders of Yen Mo and the district's Election Committee, Ha lauded the efforts of the locality in preparing for the elections, which have been conducted in line with regulations and made good progress.
To date, 17 out of the district's 17 communes and towns have completed the review and listing of voters. The lists of voters are posted at seven constituencies of the district People's Council and 131 constituencies of the commune-level People's Councils.
Social security and order have been ensured, while COVID-19 prevention and control measures have been strengthened; Material conditions for the elections have also been well prepared.
Ha suggested that along with preparing for the elections, Yen Mo should also focus on boosting economic development and ensuring social security. The district should continue to popularise the elections and actively build scenarios to deal with impossible COVID-19 outbreaks in order to organise the elections successfully, she said.

Meanwhile, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tong Quang Thin checked the preparations for the elections in Tam Diep city.
The provincial leaders spoke highly of the localities' efforts in preparing for the elections, which have been conducted in line with regulations.
Candidates running for seats in the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils have met with voters. Meanwhile, the lists of candidates and voters have been published. The communications work has been conducted widely and comprehensively.
The provincial leaders also asked localities to work hard to ensure that the elections will take place in a democratic, equal, safe, and economical manner in line with the law. They also asked for the continued dissemination of information about the elections, which are slated for May 23.
