Ninh Binh's leader inspects progress of flood prevention projects in Kim Son district

Tung and his entourage checked construction progress of Chat Thanh, Hoi Thuan and Kim Dai sluices.

 According to the management board of agriculture and rural department projects, the construction of Chat Thanh and Hoi Thuan sluices has been basically completed.

The Kim Dai sluice dam project, which aims to prevent saltwater intrusion and supply water for agricultural production in six southern districts and cities of Ninh Binh, saw 80 percent of land clearance, road building, and construction camp completed while 100 percent of concrete piles have been erected. It is estimated that about 81.3 percent of the construction value and 20.1 percent of the installment value has been accepted and paid. 

After paying a field trip, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung spoke highly of the efforts of the investor, contractors and Kim Son authorities in speeding up the construction progress of these projects.

Tung asked these units to ensure the quality of the projects as well as safety for workers in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic while further speeding up the construction progress.
