The figures were announced at a press conference held on December 28 by the provincial Statistics Office.
The province's state budget collection hit 23.3 trillion VND (987 million USD), 16.4% higher the yearly estimate.
2022 marks the first year Ninh Binh has performed self-reliance in budget. This year Ninh Binh earned the biggest-ever amount in budget collection.
The province's economic structure has continued to shifting to reducing the ratio of agro-forestry-fishery while increasing the ratio of services.
Scientific and technological advances have been applied, thus contributing to increasing the effectiveness of production and business.
Total development investment in Ninh Binh reached 29.95 trillion VND (1.2 billion USD), 10.3% higher than the yearly plan and a year-on-year increase of 10.1%.
The province's total export value hit nearly 3.2 billion USD, 13.6% higher than the yearly plan, and up 7.7% from the previous year.
Agro-forestry-fishery production gained achievements. Total grain food output was 455,900 tonnes, down 1.4% from the previous year. Total live meat was 62,800 tonnes, up 7.6% and 10.5% higher than the yearly plan. Total aquatic product output hit 65,900 tonnes, up 5.3%.
The trade and service sectors have been recovering and developing strongly.
Tourism activities have been bouncing back and developing. The province welcomed over 3.71 million tourists, a 3.6-fold increase year on year and 48.6% higher than the yearly plan.
The national programme on new-style rural area building has been implemented drastically. By the end of 2022, all 119 out of 119 communes in the province had been recognised as new-style rural areas.
In 2022, 20,500 labourers have been provided with jobs, including nearly 1,600 workers sent to work abroad. Social welfare, political security and social order were ensured.
