Although Ninh Binh has suffered great losts caused by the COVID-19 in 2020, the province's exports continuously showed its sound growth in both turnover and market in 2020, when it brought home an estimate number of 2.38 billion USD, up 13.3 percent from 2019 and surpassing the yearly target by 8.2 percent.
Key export items recording year-on-year increases included camera and telephone components, with 1.07 trillion USD; cement and clinker, 358 million USD; textiles and garments, 261 million USD, and footwear, over 438 million USD.
Meanwhile, the total import turnover of the province estimated to reach 3 billion USD, up 7.1 pct against 2019.
