The outcome was attributed to the implementation of drastic and synchronous solutions by agencies and units.
Of the figure, revenues from taxes, fees, and other sources were 6.82 trillion VND (297 million USD) and land use taxes were 360 billion VND (15.7 million USD).
Up to 11 out of 15 items subject to budget collection revenue fulfilled 50 percent of the assigned task, including revenue from the non-state economic sector (5.57 trillion VND, or 60 percent of the estimate allocated by the provincial People's Council); revenue from personal income taxes (170 billion VND, or 81 percent of the estimate allocated by the provincial People's Council); revenue from foreign-invested enterprises (135.5 billion VND, 65 percent of the estimate); revenue from non-state budget collection (114 billion VND, or 82 percent of the estimate); and revenue from environmental protection tax (378 billion VND, 126 percent of the estimate).
Four out of eight district-level localities in Ninh Binh have completed at least 50 percent of state budget collection tasks. Nho Quan and Yen Mo districts saw the highest performance, excceding the estimate by 124 percent and 0,2 percent, respectively.
To assist tax payers and fulfill the assigned state budget collection tasks in the context of COVID-19, the provincial Department of Tax devised some specific tasks as follows:
Units, agencies under the provincial Department of Tax continues to carry out their current solutions which were launched by the department at the beginning of the year.
The Department of Tax further promotes administrative procedures; guides and supports tax payer to make tax declarations, tax payments, electronic tax refunds and electronic invoices in line with regulations.
At the same time, it focuses on inspecting the fulfillment of assigned tasks of units and agencies; cooperating with police, customs and market management forces in preventing tax losses.
The department will drastically implement numerous measures to manage tax debts and recover tax arrears, striving to fulfill the set target of recovering tax arrears in 2021.
It will popularise new tax policies and other regulations among businesses and people in an attempt to provide favorable conditions for enterprises and taxpayers to soon resume their production and business activities, thereby creating a stable and long-term revenue source for the state budget collection.
